Year of the Spider is the third studio gathering by American shake band Cold. It was released on May 13, 2003 through Geffen Records. The accumulation was Cold's most financially viable, showing up at #3 on the Billboard gathering diagrams, with more than 101,000 copies sold in its first week. Early pressings of Year of the Spider were sent with a DVD and a passing tattoo of the Cold bug logo. The DVD fused the making of the (and also the genuine) video for "Idiotic Girl", fan tributes, and some home video shot in the midst of the recording of the gathering. This is also the last accumulation with guitarists Terry Balsamo and Kelly Hayes.
A year going before the gathering's release, the smooth number "Left" was released on the WWE Tough Enough 2 soundtrack. Its music video, which met with great airplay upon release, recorded it as from the accumulation Year of the Spider paying little respect to the long sit tight for its release. "Left" was along these lines used as a hid track; the song begins at 16:06 after 13 minutes and 13 seconds of calm (a reference to the superstitious method for the band's past effort 13 Ways to Bleed before a crowd of people). The tune "Came All The Way" was a b-side, which was cut late from the gathering. It's said on the back front of the accumulation's booklet. It was later released on the Psi Ops soundtrack
